Jeremie Hill Grey, Ph.D.
Dr. Grey received her doctorate from the University of Arizona and has 25 years professional experience in training and development for global high technology companies, including competency-based design and development for manufacturing, engineering, and human resources, workplace literacy, instructional design and development, training administration, and documentation/publications for a worldwide workforce. She previously managed training or publications groups for Intel Corporation, The Singer Company (Software and Aerospace), and Motorola. Dr. Grey has worked with training for high tech firms since 1979 and in her last position at Motorola had a staff of ten and responsibility for a training center with significant budget and extensive training programs. Some of the more innovative programs have been described in D.E. Dubois’ Competency Casebook (HRD Press). Dr. Grey had eight years’ experience in public education, including remedial programs for adults with ESL and literacy problems. She has subsequently formed highly successful business/school partnerships, designing Motorola’s award-winning Teacher Ambassador Program, serving on the founding school board for the East Valley Institute of Technology, and creating custom degree programs for operators and technicians with Mesa Community College and the Maricopa Community College District and the New Mexico Community College system. She has authored chapters concerning competency-based SEI implementation and leadership development for J. J. Phillips, Ed., In Action: Improving Performance in Organizations, American Society for Training and Development. Dr. Grey is a certified DDI instructor, holds a certificate from the Thunderbird International Leadership Program, American Graduate School of International Management, and is currently a principal consultant for the Learning Consortium, Inc.
